I've been photographing weddings for over 20 years, and what keeps me doing it is still the same — people, atmosphere, and the small moments that tell the real story of the day.
My approach is calm but structured. Weddings run on timing, and I naturally fall into the role of keeping things moving when needed — making sure the schedule stays on track, key moments aren't missed, and everyone knows what's happening next. I communicate clearly, keep things organized, and help the day flow without it ever feeling forced.
When it comes to photography itself, I work in a straightforward, observant way. I don't turn weddings into photoshoots. I watch, anticipate, and step in only when needed. Most of the time, couples hardly notice I'm there — and that's usually when the best photographs happen.
I've worked alongside Chris on many weddings over the years. We balance each other well. He brings creative instinct and cinematic thinking; I bring structure, timing and a steady approach. Because we understand how each other works, the day feels coordinated rather than busy, and couples experience one team working in sync, not two suppliers doing separate jobs.
Outside of weddings, I enjoy being outdoors, long walks with my partner Helen and our dog Bertie, and slower hobbies like roasting my own coffee. I like things that take time and attention — and that same mindset carries into how I work on a wedding day.
